On The Lake (or very close)
These places can handle anything you need on the water and any immediate shopping/dining needs without driving into Clayton (the nearest substantial town, about 12 minutes away from the house).
Rabun Boat House (Hall's)
Hall's has been a fixture on the lake since the 1930's. They provide fuel, boat repairs, boat rentals, a convenience store, and boat slips. Also a great place to fill up tubes and large floats with their air compressor.
Annie's At Alley's Market and Deli
A historic general store restored and remodeled in 2009. A great place to grab sandwiches for a picnic lunch on the lake.
Louie's On The Lake
Pizza/Italian and the only restaurant accessible by boat. About a 2 minute drive and similar by boat. To reach them by boat, come to Hall's and dock on the right side of the cove when entering. Walk up the hill and you'll see them.
Lake Rabun Hotel and Restaurant
Gourmet Farm-To-Table Southern Cuisine. A favorite of many guests, and only a 2 minute drive from the house.
Historic Lakemont Village
A collection of various businesses in Lakemont (the tiny town the house/lake is in).
Boat and Jet Ski Rentals
